Ashamed
After everything that had been said about the last time we played these in a Euro semi at home and after all the big up fanboys of the stadium have given it….

You should all be ashamed.

We might as well have been playing fucking Burnley for all most people cared.

Empty seats by me, half the ground seemingly up and down from minute 5 getting shit or having a piss, an absolute shambles from a fanbase in their first Euro semi for nigh on 50 years.

Lyon wasn’t like that. I think we all know why that is.

The players had nothing to go on and subsequently were shit too. Funny that.

FUCK OFF

Atmosphere at ko was superb till we conceded 1 min in
Always love someone who goes a few times a season slagging of our regular fans

Re: Ashamed
no-one round me was up and down every 5 minutes but then we're old school

Re: Ashamed
Regular fans?!

Turn it in Ern. I’ve got an ST and I haven’t had the same person next to me once all season and I’ve done every game bar when I had Covid.

Don’t talk to me about regular fans. That places still has a massive issue with the fair weather amongst us.

Unless of course Ern you’re saying old school proper West Ham give up after conceding in the first minute which I’m sure you’re not.

Re: Ashamed
In fact I very much doubt I’ve had the same people in 20 square seats around me.

Our block in the upper tier did all stand tonight in fairness and tried to get things going the blocks either side didn’t want to know tonight and sat.

They didn’t against Lyon or Sevilla. WHY IS THAT?

Johnson 2:48 Fri Apr 29
Re: Ashamed
* they did

Fuck off hat trick rah rah rah.

Re: Ashamed
Am confused are you happy or ashamed with those around you?

Post says ashamed and then you say your lot did loads to get it going.

Personally not bothered what answer is but a very strange post.

Johnson...lay off the booze/gear you silly boy.

Re: Ashamed
I’m ashamed at the whole atmosphere and the general shitness of the crowd in general Pedro.

That my block tried to get stuff going is an observation, not confusion on whether I’m happy or said as far as I’m concerned.

Overall I’m fucking pissed off and ashamed.

Don’t make this about me though, I know it’s easy to on here as you all can’t cope with facts, but what did YOU think about our lacklustre supper tonight?

Re: Ashamed
I think them scoring in first minute knocked the wind out of our sails

Do post up evidence of the atmosphere today being better than Lyon or Sevilla or in fact anywhere near them games over 90 mins to prove me wrong.

We’re easily beat these days I guess. Never used to be like that on big nights. I wonder what changed.

Re: Ashamed
I wouldn't give the players a free pass tonight. yes at times it resembled a morgue/library, but the players should contribute to raising the atmosphere and they failed

Johnson 3:15 Fri Apr 29
Re: Ashamed
Oh yeah they weren’t good either, pretty poor and still Frankfurt’s looked shit.

Hoping it goes like the Lyon game where Moyes works then out and we do better in the away game.

chedylan 2 3:18 Fri Apr 29
Re: Ashamed
I personally do not understand why tonight would resemble a library. If I were lucky enough to be in there tonight, I would not have any voice left by the end .

I don't understand

Obviously didn't go to Saville.

New breed ;-) and moaning...big old tart..

Re: Ashamed
The crowd sounded nervous against Lyon too. I wouldn’t be surprised if the higher we got in the competition the more nervous the crowd got. We’re not used to being this high in European knockout competitions.

Manuel 5:49 Fri Apr 29
Re: Ashamed
On the box, or at least on my one, I'd echo Darby's comments, there was def an atmosphere there, just not a load of loud singing.

Re: Ashamed
Modern day football fan init? Be no different at any other club I suspect.

Last time I was at the LS I noticed a decent amount of the people around me seemed to spend more time on their phone than watching the game! Remember thinking at the time why bother coming if all you’re going to do is text or surf the net or whatever.

Wasn’t a great atmosphere but “ashamed”?

Turn it in, you lemon.

Rossal 9:13 Fri Apr 29
Re: Ashamed

There was an atmosphere there 100%......my block 132 had all the season ticket and same old faces in attendance
